Leadership and Teaching

March 29, 2008 at 8:27 pm (Insights between classes, Ped, being a student)

I have been revisiting my Change Management Plan I created for that class two trimesters ago with Catherine Seo. I have updated my MCGC page, and will be adding more, you can see the plan there and the power point I created for my presentation. All my classes are beginning to overlap each other and I see change management issues that need to be addressed in all kinds of systems and processes, and processes that need change management plans! They are so very connected to people and how we learn and teach and evolve.

The below is an image I created for my change management plan, and power point:

Video Preparation and Process = Good Results

March 18, 2008 at 4:56 pm (Insights between classes)

Everything is a process! (Elaine I know you are chuckling now ☺)
Yes I see it in everything, and it makes up everyone!
My approach specifically to building my video for my Web Design class with JoAnne Cannon, was a much more brave approach than I have ever taken before, and I already see better results. My approach was key to the result. I defined my objectives, and goals right off the bat, and then began the design, based off of those goals. My typical approach might have been to put the bull horns down (I am a Ram sign) and plow through being creative to get something to be a result. Take a look at my video on: Defining your Color Scheme
